The Fair Media Council is seeking sponsors for its 7th annual Summer Social Media Boot Camp, to be held Friday, July 15, 2016 from 7.30 am to 12 noon at South Nassau Communities Hospital state-of-the-art Conference Center in Oceanside, N.Y.
The half-day event features expert speakers discussing best practices and trends, as well as real-time advice and tips for using social media to grow your business and your brand. Organizations from throughout the Long Island-New York metro area attend, making it a great networking and brainstorming event. About 300 people are expected to be in attendance. The dress code is shorts and flip flops — even for speakers — in order to ensure FMC provides a fun learning environment.
“The casual tone we set with the dress code really relaxes people,” said Jaci Clement, CEO of the Fair Media Council. “It helps them connect on a human-to-human level, which is the nature of social. And that encourages them to ask more questions and engage with the speakers a lot more than what you normally find at a conference. Our sponsors are always amazed at the feel-good quality to this event. Many nonprofits with great missions turn out for help, and the trickle-down effect of sponsorships is that they enable us to provide help to those who need it the most in the community, while providing high visibility and branding opportunities to the companies providing us with support.”
Sponsorship packages range from presenting sponsor with naming rights to exhibit and refreshment sponsors. Prime visibility opportunities are available for all budgets, both onsite at the event and online.
To maximize visibility and promotional opportunities, FMC recommends committing to a sponsorship package by April 1, 2016. With boot camp now a favorite summer event on Long Island, an early commitment also ensures your choice of sponsorship is still available.
FMC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization; a portion of your sponsorship package may be tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
