Holding
court in his living room, 11-year-old Joshua can deliver a Trump speech verbatim, complete with the mannerisms, the inflections — even a feigned annoyance at the mention of Megyn Kelly.
But the interest in all things Trump is not limited to mimicry; ask Joshua anything you want to know about politics today and he’ll throw it down faster and harder than those three times his age. To wit: Hillary’s gotta go, Kasich can’t be trusted because of the way he eats pizza, and Obama who?
So when Trump rolls into town Wednesday night, there’s no one who wants to be front and center more than young Josh. While he’s hoping to score a ticket on his own, here’s why he deserves one.

FMC: Are you a Republican?
Joshua: Oh, yes!
FMC: If someone were to ask you what the Republican Party stands for, what would you say?
Joshua: I would say that they are big on making sure that the government does not take such a big role in society, they want lower taxes for everyone not just for the middle and lower class like the Democrats. And their symbol is an elephant — which is pretty funny.

FMC: When did you become a Donald Trump fan?
Joshua: After my mother got his book, ‘Crippled America.’
FMC: What do you think Trump needs to do to win the election?
Joshua: Honestly, I think that Trump is doing a great job and I think he should continue what he is doing, taking a big stand on illegal immigration, stopping terrorism and creating jobs and that is exactly what I want to see in a presidential candidate.
FMC: How do you feel about Kasich and Clinton?
Joshua: First of all I think that Clinton has got to go, her email scandal gets worse each day and when I watched the Democratic debate, Hillary denied every question about her email scandal and that is proof that it is something big. Also, we as Americans didn’t and won’t forget Benghazi. Hilary is pro-allowing Syrian refugees into the U.S. and look … I think that is nice but she is being impulsive because what happened after Europe let in Syrian refugees? The Paris and Brussels attacks. Also the Democrats don’t want Hillary they want Bill Clinton back in the White House, and I see from watching the Democratic debates that Hillary needs a lot of guidance from someone like Bill Clinton.
And John Kasich, oh man, we had people like Marco Rubio, Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee, good people that were running and had to drop out and John Kasich has all their reasons combined for dropping out yet he refuses to drop out! He doesn’t have enough delegates and is falling in the polls but he chooses to stay in. Everyone, even Megyn Kelly admits that it will be Trump versus Clinton, so it is time for Kasich to realize he needs to go. He cannot even eat pizza right! Can we really trust him to govern this country?
We also need to take charge of North Korea and stop their behavior. They are not acting as a civilized nation.
FMC: What advice would you give Trump about his campaign platform?
Joshua: I think that when he is asked a question, he has to think a little bit, just a little bit, for example what he said about abortion Thursday night, I wasn’t that satisfied with it, but then take his speech at AIPAC which was brilliant. I would also suggest to Trump to continue to advocate for building the wall and ending radical jihadists no matter what the cost, bring back jobs to this country and take care of our debt. We also need to take charge of North Korea and stop their behavior. They are not acting as a civilized nation.
FMC: What do you think Trump’s weakness is?

Joshua: Trump’s weakness is the media, the media attacks him and attacks him, no matter what. Also he has people calling him Hitler and he really did not need the endorsement of the Ku Klux Klan. Unfortunately, he has a lot of haters but he also has a lot of fans, including me!
FMC: What do you want America to be like when you grow up?
Joshua: I want America be a great place where education is top notch. We are falling in the ranks now. I want it to be a safe place, where people don’t have to fear terrorism. Where people are off the street and have jobs, and that we are the strongest nation, our military is bigger and stronger and we have better relations with our allies and do better in trade and our debt is nonexistent. I just want to see this country great again!
FMC: If it were up to you, what would America’s immigration policy be?
Joshua: I think that people who live here illegally need to leave. But if you come into this country and you do what my family did, for example, my grandfather came as an immigrant but became a citizen. That is the proper way to do it. But now we have a border that is collapsing, illegal immigrants are coming in and taking advantage of us, taking our jobs and not paying taxes. Even though they don’t have top-notch jobs these are still jobs for American citizens. Donald Trump will fix our borders and stop illegal immigration and this is exactly what we need.
FMC: What interests you about politics?
Joshua: It is just so interesting and it can even be entertaining, like the Republican debates! I love learning about this great country. I am very passionate about it and this is how I can be involved.
FMC: Where do you get your news?
Joshua: From FOX News — and Anderson Cooper.
FMC: Are any of your friends as interested in the election as you are?
Joshua: Yeah, I have one friend who is a big Bernie Sanders fan. I have a lot of Ted Cruz people, but the most foolish of the bunch are those that like John Kasich!
FMC: What does it mean to ‘make America great again’?
Joshua: We are such a mess, we are close to $20 trillion in debt, terrorism is our greatest threat, we are being taken advantage of by anyone and everyone, and our president plays golf or watches a baseball game. And while we are at it, let’s get rid of Obamacare. The biggest thing that will make this country great again is getting rid of our current president.
FMC: Would you like to be president one day?
Joshua: I would love to be president one day, it would be an honor to serve such a great country.
FMC: What would be the best thing about being president?
Joshua: Continuing the greatness that Donald Trump will implement when he is president.
