Guide to the Media

Brought to You by
Strong news coverage paves the way for stronger, more vibrant communities and an informed electorate.
That’s why it’s important to know and work with your local news media to ensure communities have access to accurate, relevant news and information. The Fair Media Council provides the following information to bridge the gap between the public and the news media, to facilitate the exchange of information and ensure the public conversation reflects the interest, necessity, and convenience of the community. Because our view of the world begins on Long Island, our media guide starts at the hyperlocal level and grows to expand beyond borders.
