Meet the Leaders Judging Your News

The Fair Media Council’s Folio Awards program provides the ultimate news critic — the public — with a voice so strong it impacts and improves your local news.

 
It’s all about creating a better world, starting in our own backyards: The stronger our news, the more informed we are, and the better we can perform our civic responsibilities.
Folio judging begins after the holidays, and the results will be celebrated at the largest media event on Long Island, the Folio Awards Luncheon. News about the luncheon, where we have hosted some of the biggest names in news, will be coming soon.
In the meantime, meet the distinguished community and business leaders (some of whom are former journalists, and there’s even a Pulitzer Prize winner in the bunch) who have been appointed to judge the news:
