Rules for Entries
  • Projects must focus on one of the categories
  • The project may be for any length of time
  • The project may involve any number of students
  • Teachers may submit multiple entries (note that entry fees apply) at the same time.
  • Teachers may submit the same entry in multiple categories (note that entry fees apply for each entry).
  • Student projects must be completed before entering the FMC Media Savvy Teacher Award process.
  • Entries must explain, in less than 200 words, the idea or concept behind the program, how the concept was implemented and how results were measured.
  • Entries must include: Teacher’s name and contact number, School address and phone number, Grade level of the project; Number of students who participated, summary of the project, goals and outcome (no more than 200 words).
Entries are accepted on a rolling deadline basis and are due by the 30th of each month. Projects must be completed within 18 months of entry. Projects older than 18 months will be disqualified. Entry fee must be received with entry. Questions? Call 516.224.1860 ext.1 or email
