Media & Podcasters, Seeking Experts to Interview? Look Here.

The Fair Media Council has created the Source Book, an online guide to industry leaders complete with contact information, bios and photographs. The Source Book is designed to make it easier for the news media and podcasters to interview expert sources.

More than 150 categories of expertise are already logged in the Source Book, which may be viewed here.

The Source Book is part of the Fair Media Council’s Digital Toolbox, a resource to connect the news media and community to improve the public conversation.

“What makes the Source Book incredibly valuable is not simply the contact information, but the fact that we are compiling the best from a variety of industries,” said Jaci Clement, Fair Media Council CEO and Executive Director.

The Source Book may be viewed as profiles, but is also searchable by categories of expertise, which range from active shooter situations to coastal conservation to gang violence. The online format enables continuous updates and expert additions. Media and podcasters are encouraged to check the Source Book often.

Inclusion in the Source Book is one of many benefits to becoming a member of the Fair Media Council. Membership is open to business and nonprofit organizations. Find out more here.
