Mr. Britz has been a part of LIHP since 2001, serving in several capacities. As Executive VP and COO, Mr. Britz assists the President in the overall implementation of multiple affordable housing development and supportive programs. He is also responsible for supervision of various office personnel matters.
His development-related duties include but are not limited to, budget preparation; negotiations with builders; screening of applicants; marketing; prepare grant proposals to write down cost of homes; monitoring of construction; preparation of drawdowns from funding sources; and compliance with various funding requirements. As assigned, Mr. Britz represents the organizations’ positions at meetings and public forums.
Mr. Britz is a former Federal Home Loan Bank of New York Advisory Council Member. He also previously served on the South Country Community Land Trust Board of Directors, the Long Island Community Development Organization (LICDO) and is part of The Energeia Partnership Regional Stewardship Program at Molloy College – Class of 2010.
