Ed Keating joined NYU Winthrop Hospital (formerly Winthrop-University Hospital) after over 30 years in account management in the advertising agency business. He helped launch a number of major national campaigns, including the now-famous I Love New York Campaign, for clients such as New York State Tourism, Lite Beer from Miller, Phillips Magnavox, NCR Corporation, Fisher-Price, Northern Telecom and Sharp Electronics, among others.
Since joining NYU Winthrop in 2010, he has integrated all of the organization’s communications and marketing efforts into a unified Brand campaign that has helped elevate the Hospital’s image and reputation as one of the premier healthcare institutions in the region. During his tenure, patient revenue has doubled, to nearly $1.7 billion, and market share has increased significantly.
