As a Child Care Aware of America Quality Assured leading resource on child care and early learning experiences in Nassau County, the Council:
- Informs families about child care choices, indicators of quality and financial options;
- Supports the child care workforce through programmatic enhancements (education, health, safety and nutrition) and business development;
- Advocates for public policy changes that support families, the growth and development of children and the sustainability of the child care workforce; and
- Partners with community leaders, employers, public agencies and organizations to efficiently respond to and further develop the child care system.
