The deadline to enter the Fair Media Council Folio Awards is Feb. 1, and all national, regional and local news media are eligible.

The work of professionals, freelancers and students may be submitted for stories that were published or broadcast during 2024. (Except the  Truth & Impact Award. Check the details when entering.)

The Fair Media Council Folio Awards are regarded as the Gold Standard for the Modern Media Landscape. Judging is done by news consumers and journalists, to ensure the winning entries tap the pulse of the public and exemplify the best of journalism. The Folio Awards began in the 1980s, and have expanded over time to include local, regional, and national news. In addition, social media categories were created to recognize online sources for work that informs, enlightens or inspires through quality storytelling and engagement.
