The Truth & Impact Award is the Fair Media Council Signature Award for News. It includes a $1,000 cash prize.
Nominations are now accepted for Lifetime Achievement in News on the national, regional and local levels. Please refer to the website for details.

The Fair Media Council Folio Awards are regarded as the Gold Standard for the Modern Media Landscape. Judging is done by news consumers and journalists, to ensure the winning entries tap the pulse of the public and exemplify the best of journalism. The Folio Awards began in the 1980s, and have expanded over time to include local, regional, and national news. In addition, social media categories were created to recognize online sources for work that informs, enlightens or inspires through quality storytelling and engagement.
