MarissaAnn has been performing at FMC’s Folio Awards for the last three years, and is a crowd favorite.

“We’re excited to have MarissaAnn coming back as a highlight of the Folio Awards program,” said Fair Media Council CEO and Executive Director Jaci Clement. “It’s an honor to be able to showcase young talent at the biggest media event on Long Island. MarissaAnn’s energetic performance of the National Anthem is always amazing.”

MarissaAnn rose to prominence while competing on NBC’s The Voice. At the time, she was just 15 years old and the youngest competitor on the show.

FMC Folio Awards honor the best in news and social media, as chosen by the ultimate critic: The public. About 40 business and community leaders adjudicated this year’s program, which entailed watching, reading and listening to more than 100 hours of news and social media campaigns. Media from throughout the New York metropolitan area attend, as do nearly 600 business and community leaders.
