Be The Media and the Fair Media Council present a half-day social media boot camp on Nov. 18 at Briarcliffe College, Bethpage, N.Y. Six workshops are offered; attendees choose two, an early morning and mid-morning session. The event also includes continental breakfast with networking and keynote remarks. Registration begins at 7.30 a.m. The event concludes by 12 noon.

c) Can You Hear Us Now? Using Social Media in Politics and Advocacy: It’s never been harder to get Albany’s attention, but with the right tools and techniques, you can make sure that the decision makers hear you, loud and clear.
