Executive Director Jaci Clement
Jaci Clement knows media. It all started when she earned her first byline in a daily paper when she was in the fourth grade. In college, she made headlines when, while working
as a reporter for her college newspaper, she wrote an investigative piece that forced a tenured professor to resign. Since then, her work has appeared in a variety of newspapers and publications, ranging from The New York Times and BusinessWeek to Media Ethics Magazine and Better Homes and Gardens. Today, she’s executive director of the Fair Media Council, and believes the best way to hold the media accountable is to create media savvy news consumers. Her ability to explain media issues and their impact to business and community organizations has taken her around the country.
